LEADERSHIP COACHING
Leadership Coaching is a special partnership between
you and your coach. Your coach will help you focus your personal strength,
hone your skills, and have the results you want, quickly! You
will revisit your professional and personal goals, and launch into action.
Your coach is your support, trainer, taskmaster, and friend during the
entire process. A special and useful bond beyond the usual business
partnership develops with your coach.
Reasons to have a coach now:
-
You would like to move ahead more quickly and get farther in
your business or career but you don't know how.
-
You remember that you have done your best in sports, school,
business, or the arts, as you were being coached, taught or guided
by a key person. Who do you turn to now?
-
You would like to be successful by your own standards, not
the standards of others.
-
You tend to be self-directed and autonomous and would like
to work with someone that understands the issues you confront
every day.
-
You are starting, turning around, expanding, or changing your
own career or business.
-
You need assistance in solving problems or tackling opportunities
but you don't know where to begin.
What Does the Leadership Coach Do?
-
Listen: Listens fully to what you say, what
you are trying to say, what you are not saying, and what you
are up against from your point of view.
-
Advise: Offers advice, ideas, comments and
views in a way that you can use them.
-
Endorse: After you take on a big challenge
or find yourself in uncharted territory, you need an outside
voice of endorsement, compassion and encouragement.
-
Challenge: Your coach’s challenge
for you is to be successful, healthy, and happy -- To have a
strong financial and emotional base -- & To enjoy your life
right now...not after "things work out". To these ends
your coach will make strong bold requests and ask for your best.
How Does Coaching Work?
Coaching sessions are conducted once a week by telephone in a 30-minute
format. Your leadership coach will be ready to assist you without interrupting
your daily schedule.
What Do You Bring To The Coaching Relationship?
- Something Big: A big project, an opportunity
that you want to maximize or a problem that is beyond your scope
to solve.
- Communication: Be willing to fully communicate
your strengths, fears, successes, and failures. When you "speak
straight", your coach can help you to find answers more
quickly and more easily.
- Action: Take the initiative. Make your own
decisions. A coach is a resource, not an answer. A coach
can ask the right questions, advise and support, but the results
you produce will be your own.
- Coachability: An open mind and a willingness
to put the coaching into practice.
What is the Investment?
There is a monthly fee for four (4) half-hour telephone coaching sessions
per month. Fees are payable by check in advance. To get the full impact
of the leadership coaching process, it is recommend that you consider committing
to an initial 2-month time period. During this 60 day cycle, you can plan
for, begin, work hard at, and accomplish specific goals.
